Mustafa Kemal Timur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berat Togay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Turhal JK defense, Ergincan Biçim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berat Togay. The Turhal JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berat Togay should have stopped the shot. Tuğrul Torlak made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bektaş Ali Güngör sent off a good shot on target. When Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Turhal JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuğrul Torlak was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th match minute, Digor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuz Sıraç to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Hüsamettin Erandaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29 played minutes Turhal JK got a freekick which was hit by Hüsamettin Erandaç. Mustafa Kemal Timur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergincan Biçim in the 35th minute of play forced Turhal JK's goalkeeper Berat Togay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bektaş Ali Güngör fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuğrul Torlak having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Digor got a freekick which was hit by Yağızhan Hızarcı. Tuğrul Torlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ergincan Biçim to make the kick off. Burhanettin Mutlugün kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Mehmet Ceri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Digor and the Turhal JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Ceri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ergincan Biçim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ergincan Biçim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berat Togay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ergincan Biçim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Berat Togay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürhan Semir charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürhan Semir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Turhal JK. Hüsamettin Erandaç stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tuğrul Torlak. 2-1. Yağızhan Hızarcı's late challenge caught a Turhal JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağızhan Hızarcı helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 74 minutes, Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turhal JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Vacib İskandil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berat Togay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergincan Biçim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Kemal Timur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Berat Togay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 88 minutes into the match, Digor's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Devrim Akçakoca came free, but Tuğrul Torlak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Serdar Tuncel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuğrul Torlak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serdar Tuncel's late challenge caught a Digor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serdar Tuncel helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Turhal JK got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Tuncel.
