Ahmet Dervişoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsnü Yücetekin in the 25th minute of play. Sait Bilek kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Dikmen booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Onur Cenker didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hakkı Onur Cenker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Dervişoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Onur Cenker in the 39th minute of the match. Hakkı Onur Cenker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökçe Mehmet kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When Hüsnü Yücetekin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Edremit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsnü Yücetekin couldn't finish the play. If Hüsnü Yücetekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akif Sarphan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyar Suel in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Dikmen's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Onur Cenker came free, but Ahmet Dervişoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Sezer Mukerrem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutay Orkut, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Dikmen's Ahmet Dervişoğlu got control of the ball when Hüsnü Yücetekin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Dikmen got a freekick which was hit by Sait Bilek. In the 91st minute of the match Rahim Nefer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Dervişoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Hüsnü Yücetekin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Dervişoğlu. Dikmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüsnü Yücetekin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edremit played a much better game than Dikmen and deserved their victory. The Dikmen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
