The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyip Muhittin in the 8th minute of play forced Kabatas SK's goalkeeper Sarper Toygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayyip Muhittin might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sarper Toygun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tayyip Muhittin ran back to his position shaking his head. Kabatas SK's Sarper Toygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyip Muhittin in the 16th minute of play. Müfit İnan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tayyip Muhittin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sarper Toygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ejder Baykara in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sarper Toygun saved Kabatas SK from getting behind. Abuzer Sabih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abuzer Sabih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Mümtaz Yüksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tayyip Muhittin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarper Toygun having to interfere. Sarper Toygun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ejder Baykara's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Ejder Baykara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ejder Baykara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Umut Tuğsavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ejder Baykara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sögüt's supporters rose to their feet, but Ejder Baykara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarper Toygun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tacettin Akbal kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Süreyya Toper hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sarper Toygun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejder Baykara in the 58th minute of play. Ejder Baykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarper Toygun having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Süreyya Toper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kabatas SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sögüt the free kick. The supporters of Sögüt booed when Kabatas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süreyya Toper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarper Toygun acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Murat Eren. If Müfit İnan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Sögüt's Batur Konuralp got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Sögüt got a freekick which was hit by Bozkurt Öztay. After a rather tough play, Kabatas SK's Süreyya Toper got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 84th minute, Ejder Baykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sarper Toygun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ejder Baykara's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Birdal Namdar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umut Tuğsavan in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Kabatas SK booed when Sögüt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayyip Muhittin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turabi Erdurmus in the 96th minute of play forced Kabatas SK's goalkeeper Sarper Toygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sögüt booed when Kabatas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Nasir Akşin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Murat Eren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sögüt's supporters rose to their feet, but Murat Eren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarper Toygun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kabatas SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sögüt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
