Tayyar Ergüleç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Özakıncı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Tanju Haneci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Ergüleç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanju Haneci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, one of Karahanspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanju Haneci in the 40th minute of play forced Karahanspor's goalkeeper Tayyar Ergüleç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melih Siyami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tanju Haneci to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Karahanspor's Birant Kaymaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zülfikar Zülfikar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tayyar Ergüleç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Efe Özakıncı in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanju Haneci in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayyar Ergüleç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birant Kaymaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ercüment Aker kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Tayyar Ergüleç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Özakıncı in the 91st minute of play. Many of Karahanspor's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Karahanspor may have spent more time on the ball, but Eccantric were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
