Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kecierengücü's Ertan Özerdinc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Reha Kadem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Kamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galip Kamil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yetkin Süleymanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seyrani Refi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Galip Kamil. Galip Kamil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Reha Kadem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galip Kamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kecierengücü defense, Ahmet Refik Kemalettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Galip Kamil. The Kecierengücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Galip Kamil should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Kocaali JK's Yetkin Süleymanoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Galip Kamil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cumhur Taykurt fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kecierengücü's protests and gave Cumhur Taykurt a yellow card for diving instead. Cumhur Taykurt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kecierengücü's zone, Reha Kadem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galip Kamil came out of the goal and Reha Kadem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Seyrani Refi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Galip Kamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergen Beyhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumhur Taykurt in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yetkin Süleymanoğlu to make the kick off. Kecierengücü's Cumhur Taykurt got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaali JK's zone, Ertan Özerdinc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergen Beyhan came out of the goal and Ertan Özerdinc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reha Kadem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Galip Kamil made a huge save. Yetkin Süleymanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Galip Kamil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yetkin Süleymanoğlu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galip Kamil saved Kecierengücü from getting behind. Yetkin Süleymanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Galip Kamil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ertan Özerdinc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergen Beyhan having to interfere. Kılıçalp Şinas's late challenge caught a Kecierengücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kılıçalp Şinas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kecierengücü booed when Kocaali JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kılıçalp Şinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kocaali JK's goalkeeper Sergen Beyhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galip Kamil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yetkin Süleymanoğlu in the 86th minute of play. Ahmet Refik Kemalettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Reha Kadem made a precise shot to the right of Galip Kamil. Kecierengücü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Kocaali JK's Yetkin Süleymanoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute Yetkin Süleymanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Kamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kecierengücü supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kocaali JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kocaali JK.
