When Cenap Yanık came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the TÜRKİYE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cenap Yanık couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salih Başkurt during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, TÜRKİYE's Salih Başkurt got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ahmet Nafiz Uçar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. İzzettin Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Ezelhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Muhammet Konguralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsrev Bozbora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruhi Arman's late challenge caught a Ovacik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruhi Arman helped the player get up and apologised. Ruhi Arman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ovacik's Kürşat Yay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot 27 in the game by Rahman Demirer from a close distance when the talented İzzettin Erincer managed to make a qualified save. TÜRKİYE's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Uçar in the 39th minute of play forced TÜRKİYE's goalkeeper İzzettin Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, TÜRKİYE's Hilmi Davarcı got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Rahman Demirer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cenap Yanık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhammet Konguralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsrev Bozbora in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hilmi Davarcı's late challenge caught a Ovacik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilmi Davarcı helped the player get up and apologised. Rahman Demirer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzettin Erincer having to interfere. İzzettin Erincer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aktaç Ezelhan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ovacik's Muhammet Konguralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ovacik from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Ovacik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nafiz Uçar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ovacik's zone, Cenap Yanık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammet Konguralp came out of the goal and Cenap Yanık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muhammet Konguralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsrev Bozbora in the 61st minute of the match. Muhammet Konguralp made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cenap Yanık sent off a good shot on target. TÜRKİYE's İzzettin Erincer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktaç Ezelhan in the 75th minute of play. Rahman Demirer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahman Demirer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzettin Erincer having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Aktaç Ezelhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rahman Demirer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İzzettin Erincer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktaç Ezelhan in the 95th minute of the match. Rahman Demirer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzettin Erincer having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TÜRKİYE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
