Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haydar Başoğlu started the match with the kick off. If Ahmet Refik Şahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Refik Şahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Ganim having to interfere. Şimşek Türek charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şimşek Türek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Şimşek Türek hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, Konya's Hamdi Turhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gündüz Ganim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Konya reached it. Zeki Mutlutekin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ergincan Hançer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gökcebey. Konya's Ergincan Hançer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Refik Torkal in the 22nd minute of play. Zeki Mutlutekin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Ergincan Hançer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Konya's Haydar Başoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zeki Mutlutekin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gökcebey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeki Mutlutekin couldn't finish the play. Oğuzer Sefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahmet Refik Şahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Haydar Başoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Refik Torkal made a kick off. If Ahmet Refik Torkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 56th minute of the match Şimşek Türek completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Şimşek Türek a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Şimşek Türek kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haydar Başoğlu in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gündüz Ganim saved Gökcebey from getting behind. When Ahmet Refik Şahin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gündüz Ganim was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Haydar Başoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Ganim having to interfere. Bektaş Ülke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergincan Hançer having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gökcebey's zone, Ahmet Refik Şahin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gündüz Ganim came out of the goal and Ahmet Refik Şahin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Konya's Hamit Eroğlu got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute Zeki Mutlutekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergincan Hançer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haydar Başoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
