Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Muzaffer Yücesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevfik Başkara having to interfere. The referee gave Bursaspor SK a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anıl Berk Duran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sarayönü's Tevfik Başkara. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Sarayönü's Akın Ulubek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 17th minute, Muzaffer Yücesan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceyhun Koray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tevfik Başkara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Bektaş Sazak kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Muzaffer Yücesan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Ceyhun Koray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursaspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhun Koray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tacettin Bircan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Haşmet Özekan. Sarayönü's Fahri Yalazay got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Muzaffer Yücesan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Ceyhun Koray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarayönü's Tevfik Başkara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceyhun Koray in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tevfik Başkara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, Sarayönü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Oğuz Sıraç to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, one of Sarayönü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarayönü. Sarayönü:s Tevfik Başkara showed great skill when he stopped Anıl Berk Duran:s penalty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceyhun Koray to make the kick off. Muzaffer Yücesan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tevfik Başkara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muzaffer Yücesan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Tevfik Başkara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursaspor SK. Tevfik Başkara made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Muzaffer Yücesan sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Sarayönü's goalkeeper Tevfik Başkara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muzaffer Yücesan. Muzaffer Yücesan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tevfik Başkara made a huge save. In the 69th match minute, Sarayönü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bektaş Sazak to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Anıl Berk Duran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tevfik Başkara skillfully saved the ball. Tevfik Başkara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Demiralp in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bursaspor SK's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Ulubek came free, but Tacettin Bircan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ardahan Oyanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ardahan Oyanalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tevfik Başkara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Bursaspor SK's Ceyhun Koray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tevfik Başkara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Muzaffer Yücesan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Nuralp Demiralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bursaspor SK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sarayönü had won, even though Bursaspor SK had held more of the ball.
