The audience thought a goal was coming when Muzaffer Yücesan got free with Ertan İncirli in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Cermik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhun Koray came free, but Ertan İncirli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Cermik SK's goalkeeper Ertan İncirli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muzaffer Yücesan. Nuralp Demiralp hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Muzaffer Yücesan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Muzaffer Yücesan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ertan İncirli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ertan İncirli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muzaffer Yücesan in the 33rd minute. Tacettin Bircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Ali Taze in the 36th minute of the match. Muzaffer Yücesan took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ertan İncirli. Ertan İncirli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oğuzalp Keykavus took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tacettin Bircan. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oğuzalp Keykavus to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cermik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhun Koray came free, but Ertan İncirli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bursaspor SK's Nuralp Demiralp got a free kick in the 58th minute. Bursaspor SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anıl Berk Duran in the 63rd minute. Derya Düden thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ertan İncirli, a very annoying self made goal in the 63rd minute which led to 2-1. Tacettin Bircan was a little too slow when Oğuzalp Keykavus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Ertan İncirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muzaffer Yücesan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cermik SK's Ertan İncirli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhun Koray in the 82nd minute of play. If Ceyhun Koray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Ceyhun Koray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bursaspor SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Ceyhun Koray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bursaspor SK fully deserved thier win.
