Sancarbey Uralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersin Ağcabey, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Sancarbey Uralp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersin Ağcabey went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, GiresunSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Reha Necid came free, but Sancarbey Uralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Ersin Ağcabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancarbey Uralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GiresunSpor's Sancarbey Uralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reha Necid in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reha Necid in the 23rd minute of play forced GiresunSpor's goalkeeper Sancarbey Uralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, GiresunSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Gülle to maneuver through the defense. Ersin Ağcabey struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sancarbey Uralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hüyük. In the 35th minute, Namık Gündeş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teoman Turabi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hacı Ali Çağakan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GiresunSpor. Ersin Ağcabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sancarbey Uralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teoman Turabi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Hacı Ali Çağakan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reha Necid took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sancarbey Uralp. Sancarbey Uralp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of GiresunSpor booed when Hüyük was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armağan Rahim didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GiresunSpor's Sancarbey Uralp got control of the ball when Baha İmren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Sancarbey Uralp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in GiresunSpor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! 68 minutes into the match, GiresunSpor's goalkeeper Sancarbey Uralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ersin Ağcabey. Cem Gülle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Teoman Turabi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hacı Ali Çağakan. After a rather tough play, GiresunSpor's Cem Bostan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Hacı Ali Çağakan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teoman Turabi went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Teoman Turabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. GiresunSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Teoman Turabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hacı Ali Çağakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 97 minutes, Teoman Turabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GiresunSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teoman Turabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 100 minutes into the match, GiresunSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Reha Necid came free, but Sancarbey Uralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
