Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Özden Sonalp got the match started through his kick off. Kılıçhan Özbal's late challenge caught a Almus FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kılıçhan Özbal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Corlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıçhan Özbal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Batıray Yenal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almus FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıray Yenal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Corlu's goal looked a bit too open when Keramettin Sezmen came free, but Naci Tanzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sungurbey Çetinsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almus FK's Ahmet Ali Özkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özden Sonalp in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Corlu's Özden Sonalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Ali Özkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Türker Bilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Türker Bilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ali Özkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samet İlkutay in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ali Özkurt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Ali Özkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özden Sonalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Sungurbey Çetinsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naci Tanzer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sungurbey Çetinsu in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Almus FK's zone, Özden Sonalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ali Özkurt came out of the goal and Özden Sonalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Talip Onuker sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Almus FK's Ahmet Ali Özkurt didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keramettin Sezmen to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Corlu's goal looked a bit too open when Keramettin Sezmen came free, but Naci Tanzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sungurbey Çetinsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naci Tanzer having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Corlu's goalkeeper Naci Tanzer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Keramettin Sezmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özden Sonalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Ali Özkurt came out and tried to block the shot, but Özden Sonalp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. If Keramettin Sezmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naci Tanzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keramettin Sezmen went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Fadıl Tecer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keramettin Sezmen in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naci Tanzer saved Corlu from getting behind. Türker Bilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Keramettin Sezmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duran Aktemur charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duran Aktemur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Duran Aktemur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Keramettin Sezmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almus FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Keramettin Sezmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naci Tanzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Corlu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Corlu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
