Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Uygur Patlar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Naci Tanzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uygur Patlar's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Naci Tanzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uygur Patlar in the 5th minute of the match. Naci Tanzer came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Istanbulspor's Sungurbey İmam. But to his dismay, Sungurbey İmam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Yaser Yürük cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Naci Tanzer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Özden Sonalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Özden Sonalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmi Mertel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selmi Mertel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özden Sonalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Uygur Patlar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corlu's Naci Tanzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naci Tanzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uygur Patlar's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of Istanbulspor booed when Corlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadıl Tecer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Istanbulspor's Levent Erva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corlu. The audience was convinced that Sungurbey İmam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naci Tanzer was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Uygur Patlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Türker Bilen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Selmi Mertel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sungurbey İmam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbulspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sungurbey İmam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naci Tanzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Türker Bilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th match minute, Istanbulspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Utku İzci to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özden Sonalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 59 in the game by Sungurbey İmam from a close distance when the talented Naci Tanzer managed to make a qualified save. Corlu's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uygur Patlar in the 60th minute of play forced Corlu's goalkeeper Naci Tanzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özden Sonalp's late challenge caught a Istanbulspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özden Sonalp helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corlu's Özden Sonalp got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Sungurbey İmam fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Naci Tanzer, passed just outside the right post. Fadıl Tecer charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fadıl Tecer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Corlu's Fadıl Tecer got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Uygur Patlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Tanzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uygur Patlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sungurbey İmam in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Naci Tanzer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Özden Sonalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özden Sonalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmi Mertel having to interfere. Sungurbey İmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Istanbulspor's Uygur Patlar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naci Tanzer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sungurbey İmam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Naci Tanzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Istanbulspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Corlu throughout the match.
