In the 7th minute, Mehmet Şefik Saik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Türker Bilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türker Bilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Türker Bilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Yavuz Selim Tanır made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Özbilen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naci Tanzer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Istinye booed when Corlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talip Onuker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Corlu's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Şefik Saik came free, but Naci Tanzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Istinye's protests and gave Ozan Kılıçalp a yellow card for diving instead. Ozan Kılıçalp kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Türker Bilen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özden Sonalp made a kick off. Mehmet Şefik Saik was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Istinye's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mehmet Şefik Saik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Naci Tanzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Türker Bilen scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Selim Tanır, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Istinye's Mehmet Şefik Saik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Naci Tanzer. Naci Tanzer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Türker Bilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özden Sonalp scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Selim Tanır, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 83rd minute of the match Ozan Kılıçalp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ozan Kılıçalp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Istinye's Ozan Kılıçalp got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Özden Sonalp scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Selim Tanır, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes of play, Corlu's Türker Bilen made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yavuz Selim Tanır was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corlu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Istinye for a fine match.
