In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karabük FK's goalkeeper Asım Arif Sancar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batıray Kutcan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gürkan Tandoğdu. Asım Arif Sancar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Tolga Toktahan in the 19th minute of play. Ahmet Tolga Toktahan struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Asım Arif Sancar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahlat FK. Ahlat FK's Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Edip İlmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ahlat FK and the Karabük FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Ahlat FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edip İlmi to maneuver through the defense. Enginsu Yersel's late challenge caught a Karabük FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginsu Yersel helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ahlat FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 59th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Asım Arif Sancar. The goal made the score 1-1. Ahlat FK's Ahmet Tolga Toktahan got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Karabük FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürkan Tandoğdu to maneuver through the defense. Asım Arif Sancar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enginsu Yersel in the 70th minute. Batıray Kutcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özdemir Özmen in the 71st minute of the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Edip İlmi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edip İlmi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edip İlmi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ahmet Tolga Toktahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Adem Akbatu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ahlat FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
