In the 6th minute, Numan Mahsun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batıray Kutcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzhan Orgun in the 10th minute of the match. Serdar Olgunsu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ahmet Tolga Toktahan sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Serdar Olgunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Numan Mahsun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ahlat FK and the Cukurca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Ahlat FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Numan Mahsun to maneuver through the defense. Batıray Kutcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Baykara in the 17th minute of play. If Oğuzhan Orgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Tolga Toktahan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Serdar Olgunsu made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Cukurca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Özertan to maneuver through the defense. Ahlat FK's Enginsu Yersel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cukurca. 32 minutes into the game, Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serdar Olgunsu. Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Numan Mahsun got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Numan Mahsun hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Arif Dilsafa put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Ahlat FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cukurca:s goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Recep Baykara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cukurca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Oğuzhan Orgun came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cukurca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzhan Orgun couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ahlat FK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edip İlmi hit a great ball. Batıray Kutcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recep Baykara in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Recep Baykara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Batıray Kutcan, 1-3. After 69 played minutes Cukurca got a freekick which was hit by Coşkun Alişan. Baransel Kutlu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baransel Kutlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baransel Kutlu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzhan Orgun in the 74th minute of play forced Ahlat FK's goalkeeper Batıray Kutcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Oğuzhan Orgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıray Kutcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Recep Baykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cukurca booed when Ahlat FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Cumhur Ergunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahlat FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Recep Baykara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Cukurca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
