The supporters of Gölcük SK booed when Mamak JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Özen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mamak JK's Ahmet Erdem Atlıhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yunus Başeğmez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gölcük SK's Yunus Başeğmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Erdem Atlıhan in the 16th minute of play. Ahmet Erdem Atlıhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yunus Başeğmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Gölcük SK got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Cenan. After a rather tough play, Mamak JK's Göktan Akpolat got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Mamak JK's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Semi came free, but Kazım Cangun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demir Ünlüol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazım Cangun having to interfere. Göktan Akpolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Ahmet Erdem Atlıhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Gölcük SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onur Kanber to maneuver through the defense. Demir Ünlüol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazım Cangun having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Levent Semi to make the kick off. Kazım Cangun made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Demir Ünlüol sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Levent Semi could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-1 into the left cross. In the 58th minute, Fadıl Süvarioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Göktan Akpolat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamak JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Göktan Akpolat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yunus Başeğmez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Fadıl Süvarioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Semi in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazım Cangun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eray Özen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
