Güner Tunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadir Sazak in the 2nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Okmeydani:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ayranci:s goal. In the 12th minute Özcan Kuntman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güner Tunç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Erkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Süruri Şikel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 51st match minute, Okmeydani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hazım Besim to maneuver through the defense. Okmeydani's Hazım Besim got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Güner Tunç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özcan Kuntman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Özcan Kuntman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güner Tunç was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Hazım Besim hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Kadir Sazak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Güner Tunç made a huge save. Özcan Kuntman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kadir Sazak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güner Tunç having to interfere. If Özcan Kuntman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ayranci eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
