Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) ISIKTEPE SC's Sydney de Godoy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by İlkan Sayıl from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Ayvaz Tankan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Yüksel Uluer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney de Godoy's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, ISIKTEPE SC's goalkeeper Ayvaz Tankan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Macit Dağhan. 28 minutes into the match, Sydney de Godoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yüksel Uluer. GALATASARAY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sydney de Godoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Hüsamettin Özyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Sydney de Godoy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GALATASARAY's Yüksel Uluer. Yüksel Uluer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36thth minute of the game Sydney de Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Yüksel Uluer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yüksel Uluer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney de Godoy went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. GALATASARAY's Yüksel Uluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney de Godoy in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ayvaz Tankan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuğrul Bekdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ISIKTEPE SC's Alemdar Alpaslan got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Sydney de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yüksel Uluer came out of the goal and Sydney de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yüksel Uluer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Hacıfettahoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alemdar Alpaslan's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alemdar Alpaslan helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes ISIKTEPE SC got a freekick which was hit by Alemdar Alpaslan. After having played for 79 minutes, Sydney de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ISIKTEPE SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney de Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yüksel Uluer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney de Godoy's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Yüksel Uluer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney de Godoy in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Mirkelam Avcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayvaz Tankan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuğrul Bekdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Mirkelam Avcıoğlu. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Sydney de Godoy sped through GALATASARAY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yüksel Uluer. ISIKTEPE SC played a much better game than GALATASARAY and deserved their victory. The GALATASARAY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
