The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Yedisu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulbaki Eygül didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Yedisu's Necmettin Sav made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hulki Yalkı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Galatasaray SK's Hulki Yalkı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Ege Beyzade in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Cemal Siraceddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayet Atlıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdulbaki Eygül came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Yedisu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulbaki Eygül couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Necmettin Sav got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yedisu's Anıl Ege Beyzade in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cemal Siraceddin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anıl Ege Beyzade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Hulki Yalkı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hulki Yalkı made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Abdulbaki Eygül sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Hulki Yalkı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Ege Beyzade. Yedisu's Necmettin Sav got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muammer Yılmaz charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muammer Yılmaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Muammer Yılmaz hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Hulki Yalkı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Ege Beyzade. Galatasaray SK's Hulki Yalkı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray SK from getting a goal against them. Abdulbaki Eygül's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulbaki Eygül helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Yedisu got a freekick which was hit by Abdulbaki Eygül. The audience was convinced that Ayhan Kınay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hidayet Atlıoğlu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Muammer Yılmaz. Feridun Kutberk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Yedisu played a much better game than Galatasaray SK and deserved their victory. The Galatasaray SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
