Saray's Mehdi Bahar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Saray from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Saray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kubilay Öksak to maneuver through the defense. Eynesil SK's Ünsal Akdal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ünsal Akdal in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mehdi Bahar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eynesil SK's Arslan Tümkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gazi Keşif in the 33rd minute of play. Ahmet Arif İpçi might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arslan Tümkurt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Arif İpçi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Arif İpçi scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arslan Tümkurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gazi Keşif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Saray were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bilgin Faydalı made the kick off in the second half. Türkeş Cangur's late challenge caught a Eynesil SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Türkeş Cangur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Saray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Türkeş Cangur to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Ünsal Akdal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saray's Mehdi Bahar. Mehdi Bahar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bilgin Faydalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Mehdi Bahar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgin Faydalı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Özen Yalazalp came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Eynesil SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özen Yalazalp couldn't finish the play. Mehdi Bahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özen Yalazalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
