Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Efekan Ateşoğlu kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute of the match Baykam Özilter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hüseyin İlksen skillfully saved the ball. In the 9th minute, Utku Sunullah made a precise shot to the right of Hüseyin İlksen. Istanbul Bosphorus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hüseyin İlksen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku Sunullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Istanbul Bosphorus's goal looked a bit too open when Utku Sunullah came free, but Hüseyin İlksen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Istanbul Bosphorus's Tayfur Işıklar got a free kick in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Rasim Rami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Varol Hürkan. Selim JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rasim Rami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Istanbul Bosphorus's Cüneyd Özkut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Varol Hürkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Istanbul Bosphorus's Hüseyin İlksen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balaban Uzhan in the 30th minute of play. Hüseyin İlksen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efekan Ateşoğlu in the 35th minute of the match. Cüneyd Özkut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Varol Hürkan having to make a save. After 44 minutes of play, Selim JK's Bumin Aynacıoğlu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüseyin İlksen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Selim JK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hüseyin İlksen made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Balaban Uzhan sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cüneyd Özkut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbul Bosphorus's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyd Özkut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Varol Hürkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayfur Işıklar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Varol Hürkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüseyin İlksen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Utku Sunullah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. In the 78th minute Cüneyd Özkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varol Hürkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cemal Samir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varol Hürkan came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Istanbul Bosphorus's Cüneyd Özkut. But to his dismay, Cüneyd Özkut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Istanbul Bosphorus's Cüneyd Özkut got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Selim JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Selim JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
