When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Kürşat Ünsaç made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Taslicay's Gökmen Muharrem threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Kürşat Ünsaç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vecdet Mahçup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gökmen Muharrem made a huge save. Gökmen Muharrem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Ünsaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Taslicay's Ali Kürşat Ünsaç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Mahçup couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Taslicay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Edirne throughout the match.
