The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Çelik Ergök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bayındır Gökkuşağı helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Bayindir SK's zone, Aybars Kayan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ertunç Tanyeli came out of the goal and Aybars Kayan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Ekrem Kumukbay kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Kiziltoprak getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ahmet Davut Erincer hit a great ball. Bayindir SK's Ertunç Tanyeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bayindir SK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Aybars Kayan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ertunç Tanyeli. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. If Aybars Kayan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Memduh İlkay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ertunç Tanyeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Kiziltoprak's Aybars Kayan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ertunç Tanyeli. Ertunç Tanyeli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Arif Memduh İlkay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertunç Tanyeli having to interfere. A collision led to Bayindir SK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mustafa Ekrem Kumukbay hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gürcan Tandoruk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Kiziltoprak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyit Perviz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Onuralp Rasim got free with Ceyhun Yamaner in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybars Kayan in the 56th minute of play forced Bayindir SK's goalkeeper Ertunç Tanyeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertunç Tanyeli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89thth minute of the game Aybars Kayan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayindir SK's Ertunç Tanyeli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ertunç Tanyeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybars Kayan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aybars Kayan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kiziltoprak fully deserved thier win.
