Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. İbrahim Ethem İshak started the match with the kick off. DERİNSPOR's Semi Hadim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Şirvan in the 3rd minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Diyadin JK's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem İshak came free, but Süreyya Sarıcabay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ataman Şirvan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semi Hadim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. DERİNSPOR's Semi Hadim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save DERİNSPOR from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Diyadin JK's Vatan Uğurtay got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Semi Hadim made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Hakkı Devrim Zahit sent off a good shot on target. Süreyya Sarıcabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Ethem İshak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Vatan Uğurtay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diyadin JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DERİNSPOR the free kick. After 28 played minutes Diyadin JK got a freekick which was hit by Vatan Uğurtay. Ataman Şirvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Semi Hadim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakkı Devrim Zahit came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Semi Hadim could save by the left post. Çetin Zeyyat kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ataman Şirvan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Diyadin JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Diyadin JK booed when DERİNSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayvaz İmren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, DERİNSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ataman Şirvan came free, but Semi Hadim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hakkı Devrim Zahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ataman Şirvan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, DERİNSPOR's Ayvaz İmren got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Çetin Zeyyat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Süreyya Sarıcabay. Çetin Zeyyat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 63 minutes into the match, DERİNSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ataman Şirvan came free, but Semi Hadim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, İbrahim Ethem İshak took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Süreyya Sarıcabay to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to DERİNSPOR getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nurettin Satılmış hit a great ball. Diyadin JK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when İbrahim Ethem İshak 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Süreyya Sarıcabay made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Babür Günden sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as DERİNSPOR's İbrahim Ethem İshak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Süreyya Sarıcabay. That made the score 0-4 after 89 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DERİNSPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
