Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdulaziz Çağman kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Inönü booed when Atletico Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir Yavuzcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paşa Behram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Atletico Madrid's Namık Kemal Dilşad got control of the ball when İldeniz Balkanlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Kıraç Togay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inönü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Madrid the free kick. Kıraç Togay kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Atletico Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedir Arıkan to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Inönü's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Işın came free, but Yavuz Yenisey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paşa Behram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Atletico Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulaziz Çağman came free, but Namık Kemal Dilşad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletico Madrid's Şakir Nurkan got a free kick in the 35th minute. During the 41st minute of the match Kıraç Togay completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kıraç Togay a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 42 played minutes Inönü got a freekick which was hit by Kıraç Togay. When Şakir Nurkan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Madrid's protests and gave Şakir Nurkan a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Atletico Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Nurkan. İldeniz Balkanlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paşa Behram was the one to do the kick off. Inönü's Yavuz Yenisey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Inönü from getting a goal against them. After 53 played minutes Inönü got a freekick which was hit by Şemsettin Saadettin. After having played for 54 minutes, Çetin Işın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çetin Işın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inönü's Yavuz Yenisey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paşa Behram in the 63rd minute of play. Kılıçhan Uçuk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inönü fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Inönü's Yavuz Yenisey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paşa Behram in the 76th minute of play. Çetin Işın in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yavuz Yenisey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paşa Behram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Yavuz Yenisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nurtekin Duman's late challenge caught a Atletico Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nurtekin Duman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inönü's Nurtekin Duman got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Atletico Madrid's Paşa Behram got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atletico Madrid's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
