Altan Midilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seyhan Vahip came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Serdar Özata could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Ali Cumhur in the 16th minute of play forced Hawks FC's goalkeeper Serdar Özata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dursun Ali Cumhur notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hawks FC's Serdar Özata. Serdar Özata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seyhan Vahip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Serdar Özata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyhan Vahips short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Serdar Özata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Altan Midilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Orhan Seyfi Başok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hamdi Toktahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Başok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Seyfi Başok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Seyhan Vahip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dursun Ali Cumhur was the one to do the kick off. Serdar Özata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dursun Ali Cumhur's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Cemal Çidam charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cemal Çidam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Hawks FC got a freekick which was hit by Cemal Çidam. Serdar Özata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Cumhur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hawks FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eşref Ayyıldız hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawks FC's goalkeeper Serdar Özata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Orhan Seyfi Başok left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hawks FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hawks FC's zone, Seyhan Vahip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serdar Özata came out of the goal and Seyhan Vahip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Seyhan Vahip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serdar Özata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Izmir JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruhi Nadi to maneuver through the defense. Esen Pamirhan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ahmet Hamdi Toktahan right hand side. Ahmet Hamdi Toktahan made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Orhan Seyfi Başok sent off a good shot on target. The Hawks FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
