The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Vachon having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Vachon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 12th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Vachon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, USA's Jacob May got a free kick in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Cassius Byrne fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roman Vachon quite easily take care of the ball. USA's Monty Rogers managed to work through Manfredi AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Monty Rogers dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Son Banana. Cheng Xiong Ang kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Vachon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fausto Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Vachon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Roman Vachon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 52nd minute. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Manfredi AFC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
