After a defensive mix-up in Munzur Sor's zone, Hakkı Onur Ahid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kubilay Akdoğ came out of the goal and Hakkı Onur Ahid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaser Yetişen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafet Hatmi in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Munzur Sor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emre Altunhan. The supporters of Munzur Sor booed when Gaziantep was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlualp Barkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Munzur Sor's Mustafa Emre Altunhan got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Rafet Hatmi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munzur Sor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafet Hatmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ozan Özinal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hakkı Onur Ahid fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaziantep's protests and gave Hakkı Onur Ahid a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Gaziantep was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Onur Ahid to maneuver through the defense. Metehan Özol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Yaser Yetişen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Hakkı Onur Ahid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaziantep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Onur Ahid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Ozan Özinal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gaziantep getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zekeriya Bozok hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakkı Onur Ahid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gaziantep's goal looked a bit too open when Yağız Okcan came free, but Yaser Yetişen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaser Yetişen came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Munzur Sor's Metehan Özol. But to his dismay, Metehan Özol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rafet Hatmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yaser Yetişen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Özol, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Metehan Özol kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Zekeriya Bozok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kubilay Akdoğ made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hakkı Onur Ahid sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mustafa Emre Altunhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munzur Sor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Emre Altunhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaser Yetişen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
