A collision led to Istanbul SK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Çağlar Orkutay hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Ahmet Fikret Gökyüzü shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baycan Uygan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özbek Maruf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Türev in the 20th minute. Tugay Alptekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Maruf having to interfere. Baran Türev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Ekber Özilter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZaZa 21 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekber Özilter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekber Özilter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baycan Uygan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ZaZa 21 FC's zone, Baran Türev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özbek Maruf came out of the goal and Baran Türev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baran Türev got free with Özbek Maruf in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 43 minutes, Tugay Alptekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Istanbul SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tugay Alptekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baran Türev might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Özbek Maruf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baran Türev ran back to his position shaking his head. Baran Türev struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Özbek Maruf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul SK. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tugay Alptekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, İbrahim Efe Sanal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZaZa 21 FC and the Istanbul SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tugay Alptekin couldn't finish the play.
