The supporters of Nazimiye booed when Balgat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okaner Alyakut didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Caner Hasret came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Nazimiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caner Hasret couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Caner Hasret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazimiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Caner Hasret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyit Balta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erol Çiftçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Balgat getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Erenay Demirel hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Caner Hasret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyit Balta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nazimiye's Caner Hasret in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balgat's goalie prevented a goal. The penalty shot was made by Atabey Tokyay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balgat's Seyit Balta. 2-1. Ahmet Refik Ömürcan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Çağlar Sezgi. In the 43rd minute Caner Hasret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyit Balta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Burak Aksakal in the 46th minute of play forced Nazimiye's goalkeeper Ahmet Refik Ömürcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nazimiye's zone, Okaner Alyakut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Refik Ömürcan came out of the goal and Okaner Alyakut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caner Hasret stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Okaner Alyakut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ahmet Refik Ömürcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Nazimiye got a freekick which was hit by Kayacan Keskin. Arif Burak Aksakal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Refik Ömürcan having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Arif Burak Aksakal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balgat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Burak Aksakal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Balgat getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sakut Adıvar hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Nurkan Şemseddin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nazimiye and the Balgat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erol Çiftçi came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Seyit Balta could save by the left post. Okaner Alyakut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balgat's Seyit Balta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Hasret in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Balgat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erenay Demirel to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Caner Hasret fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Seyit Balta, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Nazimiye getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Erol Çiftçi hit a great ball. Seyit Balta made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Erol Çiftçi sent off a good shot on target. Baransel Ahi charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baransel Ahi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nazimiye's Baransel Ahi got a free kick in the 91st minute. Okaner Alyakut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arif Burak Aksakal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balgat's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
