FC AnKaRa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ◄ABOŞ► the free kick. In the 18th minute, Batı Sağanalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aykut Latif. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batı Sağanalp in the 24th minute of play forced ◄ABOŞ►'s goalkeeper Aykut Latif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykutalp Akçınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Benlioğlu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batı Sağanalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ◄ABOŞ► getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Zülfü Ozanalp hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Hakan Yükselir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aykut Latif was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC AnKaRa's goalkeeper Baybars Benlioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Arif Egemen Yücelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
