If Yalçın Cuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yalçın Cuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Güralp Ersan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işık İnan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yalçın Cuma to make the kick off. Polat Uluman struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kalkandere's zone, Yalçın Cuma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güralp Ersan came out of the goal and Yalçın Cuma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yalçın Cuma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güralp Ersan having to make a save. Güralp Ersan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polat Uluman in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kalkandere defense, Polat Uluman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güralp Ersan. The Kalkandere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güralp Ersan should have stopped the shot. Arif Burak Korhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Güralp Ersan. Kalkandere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 played minutes Kalkandere got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cafer Kamaci. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yalçın Cuma in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güralp Ersan saved Kalkandere from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dörtyolagizi JK had won after a very even match.
