The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dinçer Ezgü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutay Atılay, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutay Atılay in the 10th minute of play forced Gürpinar JK's goalkeeper Dinçer Ezgü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Emrah Kiram charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Emrah Kiram the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cerkezköy JK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mehmet Emrah Kiram hit a great ball. Gürpinar JK's Tugay Bozlak got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Necmi Kural in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atacan Müfit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute Tugay Bozlak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atacan Müfit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Cerkezköy JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutay Atılay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gürpinar JK booed when Cerkezköy JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Sekib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atacan Müfit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tugay Bozlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tugay Bozlak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atacan Müfit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Atacan Müfit came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Gürpinar JK's Necmi Kural. But to his dismay, Necmi Kural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Gürpinar JK's Cevher Ortunc got a free kick in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kutay Atılay in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinçer Ezgü saved Gürpinar JK from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tugay Bozlak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gürpinar JK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ramiz Sadik hit a great ball. Atacan Müfit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Kural, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gürpinar JK booed when Cerkezköy JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşim Tuney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tugay Bozlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Atacan Müfit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necmi Kural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atacan Müfit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmi Kural, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tugay Bozlak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atacan Müfit. Cerkezköy JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tugay Bozlak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tugay Bozlak struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Atacan Müfit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürpinar JK. Necmi Kural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tugay Bozlak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atacan Müfit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cerkezköy JK's Songur Sekib got a free kick in the 97th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necmi Kural in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atacan Müfit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Gürpinar JK were the better team. Gürpinar JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
