Niyazi Özkul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Özdemir Tozun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Şensoy Şahbazoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Elbistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rahmi Cansun to maneuver through the defense. Muhittin Suheyl struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Özdemir Tozun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Türkoglu FK. Türkoglu FK's Muhittin Suheyl got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muhittin Suheyl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Türkoglu FK's Muhittin Suheyl got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niyazi Özkul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Türkoglu FK got a freekick which was hit by Saltuk Renan. Niyazi Özkul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hüsmen Kose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhittin Suheyl made a kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elbistan's goalkeeper Özdemir Tozun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Niyazi Özkul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Cenk Çolakoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Özdemir Tozun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Özdemir Tozun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihangir Umay in the 69th minute. Türkoglu FK's Cihangir Cihangir got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Anıl Cenk Çolakoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Türkoglu FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Cenk Çolakoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özdemir Tozun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Anıl Cenk Çolakoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Türkoglu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Cenk Çolakoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niyazi Özkul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özdemir Tozun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Niyazi Özkul made a precise shot to the right of Özdemir Tozun. Elbistan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Muhittin Suheyl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Muhittin Suheyl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Özdemir Tozun. That made the score 1-3 in the 97 minute of play.
