In the 12th match minute, Merinos SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tugay Özil to maneuver through the defense. Merinos SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Ünal Tanaltan scored to the left of an out of position Yetkiner Ruhittin, making the score, 1-0. Artaç Secahat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derman Yaltıray in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Sakut Atikoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saadettin Lema got free with Yetkiner Ruhittin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Saadettin Lema managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kasterpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Saadettin Lema was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yetkiner Ruhittin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Sakut Atikoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Artaç Secahat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakut Atikoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saadettin Lema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Yetkiner Ruhittin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ünal Tanaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Merinos SK's Afşin Uğurel got a free kick in the 64th minute. Yetkiner Ruhittin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saadettin Lema in the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Kasterpool got a freekick which was hit by Kamuran Hanbeyi. Derman Yaltıray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Gencalp Taştan hit a great ball. Afşin Uğurel, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kasterpool's Artaç Secahat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Kasterpool from getting a goal against them. Yetkiner Ruhittin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saadettin Lema, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Kasterpool getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Güneri Pınarbaşı hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Artaç Secahat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Merinos SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kasterpool from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
