The supporters of Eski booed when Altintas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Özinal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Yücel Kiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eski's Semi Genç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faruk Ayalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ender Güzir made a huge save. Faruk Ayalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Güzir having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Altintas's goal looked a bit too open when Fetih Sebuktekin came free, but Ender Güzir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semi Genç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emirhan Akergin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Yücel Kiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semi Genç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altintas's Derviş Özinal got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Emirhan Akergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fetih Sebuktekin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emirhan Akergin got free with Semi Genç in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdullatif Polatalp charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdullatif Polatalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Yücel Kiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yücel Kiner in the 66th minute of play forced Eski's goalkeeper Semi Genç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yücel Kiner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Semi Genç came out and tried to block the shot, but Yücel Kiner slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yücel Kiner in the 75th minute of play forced Eski's goalkeeper Semi Genç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emirhan Akergin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 87 in the game by Emirhan Akergin from a close distance when the talented Semi Genç managed to make a qualified save. Eski's players were relieved. 87 minutes into the game, Türkeş Türkyılmaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altintas the free kick. Türkeş Türkyılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Emirhan Akergins short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Semi Genç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Semi Genç made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Emirhan Akergin sent off a good shot on target. Yücel Kiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altintas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
