Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulut Hepyener in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ender Güzir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yücel Kiner in the 16th minute of play forced Izmir's goalkeeper Özgür Teren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izmir's Bulut Hepyener got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özgür Teren made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Emirhan Akergin sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Izmir's Mümtazer Sağman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yücel Kiner didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 22nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Yücel Kiner ran dejectedly back to his position. 23 minutes into the match, Izmir's goalkeeper Özgür Teren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emirhan Akergin. When Ekrem Ünseven fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izmir's protests and gave Ekrem Ünseven a yellow card for diving instead. Ekrem Ünseven hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Izmir's Özgür Teren got control of the ball when Emirhan Akergin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Yücel Kiner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Özgür Teren, 1-1. In the 31st minute Yücel Kiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgür Teren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derviş Özinal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Özgür Teren came out and tried to block the shot, but Derviş Özinal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Yücel Kiner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özgür Teren. The goal made the score 3-1. If Yücel Kiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Izmir's goalkeeper Özgür Teren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derviş Özinal. Özgür Teren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emirhan Akergin in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Kayacan in the 46th minute of play forced Altintas's goalkeeper Ender Güzir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Ahmet Harun Kayacan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altintas's Ender Güzir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Ender Güzir successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ender Güzir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bulut Hepyener's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ahmet Harun Kayacan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ender Güzir came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Harun Kayacan slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 61st minute. Ahmet Hafiz Acaröz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Izmir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hafiz Acaröz to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Derviş Özinal in the 66th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Özgür Teren's left hand side. Altintas had won after a very even match.
