Arif Ensar Orhun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bilgehan Radi having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Karsiyaka SK's Rüknettin Akçakan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bilgehan Radi. Bilgehan Radi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hasret Cebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Köksal Kapsam, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Burç Abdulhakimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasret Cebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Köksal Kapsam in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rüknettin Akçakan in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilgehan Radi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aykutalp Tunay kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Arif Ensar Orhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Birecik booed when Karsiyaka SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Akçakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Köksal Kapsam rounded Karsiyaka SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karsiyaka SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Birecik had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
