Erdemirspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özal Baydan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Acun Kiyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Erdemirspor got a freekick which was hit by Arkın Mecit. Oğuzhan Erbelgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acun Kiyas in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Uluç Fazilet made the kick off in the second half. Erdemirspor's attentive Arkın Mecit managed to snatch the ball when Akşemseddin Ersalmış made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Oğuzhan Erbelgin made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bayındır Doğanlar sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 62 minutes, Bayındır Doğanlar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayındır Doğanlar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Poyraz Sena got free with Oğuzhan Erbelgin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Bayındır Doğanlar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oğuzhan Erbelgin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when Erdemirspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volkan Faydalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acun Kiyas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Oğuzhan Erbelgin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Uluç Fazilet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
