Muhittin Tigin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alican Dindar having to interfere. If Baturhan Uğuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. hiTiT güNeşi's Saip Pekergin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybars Çakmur in the 18th minute of play. Saip Pekergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şensoy Yılma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şensoy Yılma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Saip Pekergin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şensoy Yılma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şensoy Yılma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Saip Pekergin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saip Pekergin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybars Çakmur's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybars Çakmur made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aybars Çakmur in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saip Pekergin saved hiTiT güNeşi from getting behind. Aral Ozan's late challenge caught a Gökceada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aral Ozan helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes hiTiT güNeşi got a freekick which was hit by Aral Ozan. Aybars Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aybars Çakmur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Pekergin having to interfere. Saip Pekergin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şensoy Yılma in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Muhittin Tigin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alican Dindar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybars Çakmur hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Saip Pekergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybars Çakmur in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayfun Hezarfen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Gökceada got a freekick which was hit by Tayfun Hezarfen. Many of Gökceada's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gökceada may have spent more time on the ball, but hiTiT güNeşi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
