Ferman Karaman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nebi Terzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Caycuma FK booed when Ondokuzmayis SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Deniz Işıklı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayyam Mecnun kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ferman Karaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Hamdi Sayyad kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Serter Tunay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee ignored Caycuma FK's protests and gave Arın Yetiş a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caycuma FK's Arın Yetiş got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Serdar Tapık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ondokuzmayis SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Serdar Tapık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Ömer Hür breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caycuma FK's goalkeeper Ali Ömer Hür, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Saffet Sunay came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Caycuma FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saffet Sunay couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serkan Sırat to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Caycuma FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caycuma FK. The referee gave Ondokuzmayis SK a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serter Tunay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caycuma FK's Ali Ömer Hür. 1-0. Caycuma FK's Ali Ömer Hür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serdar Tapık in the 68th minute of play. Ali Ömer Hür didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serdar Tapık went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Serkan Sırat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ali Ömer Hür tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serkan Sırat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serkan Sırat in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Ömer Hür saved Caycuma FK from getting behind. Serdar Tapık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mecnun Sebih kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Ondokuzmayis SK were awarded a corner. Serter Tunay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ondokuzmayis SK's Yüce Uzcan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Caycuma FK's Ali Ömer Hür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serdar Tapık in the 90th minute of play. Ondokuzmayis SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Saffet Sunay scored to the left of an out of position Nebi Terzi, making the score, 2-1.
