The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammet Güneş got free with Yavuz Bülent Ongunalp in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caldiran JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızalp Usberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genco Tokyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Yağızalp Usberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Doruk Lebib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammet Güneş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Gürel Sonalp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 45th match minute, Caldiran JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhanettin Erdönmez to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Metehan Betik in the 46th minute really tested Yavuz Bülent Ongunalp's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Burhanettin Erdönmez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürel Sonalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ürgüp FK booed when Caldiran JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Boran Arman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ürgüp FK's Gürel Sonalp got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yavuz Bülent Ongunalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Güneş, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Muhammet Güneş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caldiran JK's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Ongunalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ürgüp FK's Timur Acaralp got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute İlmi Pozan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doruk Lebib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caldiran JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ürgüp FK.
