In the 20th match minute, Yalihüyük FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fetih Ballıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Sergen Akgüngör made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poyraz Betik in the 25th minute of play. Selmi Taran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinçer Kutsal in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Yalihüyük FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baskın Perk to maneuver through the defense. When Dinçer Kutsal got free in front of the goal in the 34th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Selmi Taran was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Samsung SK booed when Yalihüyük FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruhi Uygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıdır Okay in the 53rd minute of play forced Yalihüyük FK's goalkeeper Selmi Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baskın Perk hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dinçer Kutsal might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selmi Taran.
