Hidayet Saylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuzalp Şükrü having to interfere. Balamir Mertkal charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balamir Mertkal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cagaloglu getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Balamir Mertkal hit a great ball. Cagaloglu's Yavuzalp Şükrü proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cagaloglu from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, Akören was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Hekimhanlı to maneuver through the defense. Yavuzalp Şükrü made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Abdurrahman Ersezer sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Bayındır Mehmet Dalayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Şükrü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuzalp Şükrü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Hekimhanlı in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Şerafettin Zişan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Akören's Süruri Çakır. Süruri Çakır was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hidayet Saylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Cenk Ceylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Süruri Çakır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Cenk Ceylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cagaloglu's Anıl Cenk Ceylan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hidayet Saylan got free with Yavuzalp Şükrü in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Cagaloglu's goalkeeper Yavuzalp Şükrü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hidayet Saylan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hidayet Saylan got free with Yavuzalp Şükrü in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şerafettin Zişan was the one to do the kick off. Yavuzalp Şükrü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Mehmet Dalayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şerafettin Zişan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Akören booed when Cagaloglu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Cenk Ceylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şerafettin Zişan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Süruri Çakır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anıl Cenk Ceylan fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cagaloglu's protests and gave Anıl Cenk Ceylan a yellow card for diving instead. Anıl Cenk Ceylan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Cagaloglu's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Mehmet Dalayer came free, but Yavuzalp Şükrü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuzalp Şükrü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Dalayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Süruri Çakır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özdemir İsrafil in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Abdurrahman Ersezer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akören's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cagaloglu the free kick. In the 78th minute, Anıl Ozan Öztürk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Akören's Süruri Çakır didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Şerafettin Zişan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cagaloglu's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerafettin Zişan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Süruri Çakır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd play minute Anıl Cenk Ceylan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Süruri Çakır. 1-2. If Anıl Cenk Ceylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cagaloglu's Yavuzalp Şükrü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Dalayer in the 90th minute of play. The Akören supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cagaloglu's performance. The match ended with a win for Cagaloglu.
