The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aydın Uğurlubey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süreyya Ehlimen having to interfere. The supporters of Otlukbeli FK booed when Güce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Berk Tüney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil Nazır, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aytek Seyyids short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Süreyya Ehlimen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Güce's goalkeeper Süreyya Ehlimen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Kaan İsfendiyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Süreyya Ehlimen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Süreyya Ehlimen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydın Uğurlubey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Birol Derviş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güce's supporters rose to their feet, but Birol Derviş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Hakkı Özbilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aytek Seyyid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Süreyya Ehlimen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Süreyya Ehlimen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aydın Uğurlubey in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Güce's goal looked a bit too open when Aydın Uğurlubey came free, but Süreyya Ehlimen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytek Seyyid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güce's Süreyya Ehlimen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytek Seyyid in the 70th minute of play. Anıl Berk Tüney charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anıl Berk Tüney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 minutes of play, Otlukbeli FK's Aydın Uğurlubey made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Süreyya Ehlimen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anıl Berk Tüney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birol Derviş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Özbilen having to interfere. Anıl Berk Tüney was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
