Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arif Buğra Tayfun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Gürsu got a freekick which was hit by Evren Gürtuna. After 4 played minutes, nevşehirspor's Arkın Şentürk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egemen Beren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in nevşehirspor reached it. Ali Faruk Duha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Faruk Duha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Behlül Baloğlu. Arif Buğra Tayfun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Savaş Sökmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Harun Şölen during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Ahmet Harun Şölen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savaş Sökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Buğra Tayfun in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Faruk Duha in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savaş Sökmen saved nevşehirspor from getting behind. Çağlar Ruhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Egemen Beren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egemen Beren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emir Kemalettin in the 30th minute. If Emir Kemalettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Savaş Sökmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Faruk Duha, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Savaş Sökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Buğra Tayfun in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to nevşehirspor getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Emir Kemalettin hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Ali Faruk Duha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaş Sökmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Buğra Tayfun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Savaş Sökmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Faruk Duha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute of the match, Ali Faruk Duha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Savaş Sökmen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the nevşehirspor defense, Ali Faruk Duha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savaş Sökmen. The nevşehirspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savaş Sökmen should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, nevşehirspor's Savaş Sökmen got control of the ball when Ali Faruk Duha tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, one of nevşehirspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Gürsu. Yahya Aksoy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Savaş Sökmen. 0-2. Ali Faruk Duha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience held their breath when Ali Güralp Ökkeş in the 84th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Egemen Beren's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Faruk Duha got free with Savaş Sökmen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in nevşehirspor's zone, Ali Faruk Duha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savaş Sökmen came out of the goal and Ali Faruk Duha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Faruk Duha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gürsu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
