Barlas Onursu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Behzat Müslim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After 13 minutes, Asım İdilkurt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KARAMUSA FC and the Köprübasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hakan Kurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Duman in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nejat Akçakoca in the 16th minute of play forced KARAMUSA FC's goalkeeper Hakan Kurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Arif Mirac charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Arif Mirac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KARAMUSA FC booed when Köprübasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Arif Mirac didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ali Behzat Müslim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Tolga Duman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KARAMUSA FC's Hakan Kurhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fadıl Yürükoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Barlas Onursu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barlas Onursu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Behzat Müslim's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Köprübasi's Tolga Duman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakan Kurhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fadıl Yürükoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Barlas Onursu made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Behzat Müslim made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadıl Yürükoğlu in the 54th minute of play forced Köprübasi's goalkeeper Barlas Onursu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Behzat Müslim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Ali Behzat Müslim made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Köprübasi's Barlas Onursu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Behzat Müslim in the 70th minute of play forced Köprübasi's goalkeeper Barlas Onursu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barlas Onursu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Behzat Müslim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fadıl Yürükoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Barlas Onursu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Köprübasi's Barlas Onursu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Behzat Müslim in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, KARAMUSA FC's Faik Kocaalp got a free kick in the 87th minute. Nejat Akçakoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hakan Kurhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Köprübasi booed when KARAMUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hasan Ahsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Köprübasi's Ali Orhan Birsan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Köprübasi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
