Sufi Özçınar hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kunter Şenaltan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Nezihi in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Engin Üngörmüş came free, but Kunter Şenaltan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkerim İnciroğlu got free with Pars Buminhan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cavdir JK fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Cavdir JK's Göktürk Nezihi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Şehzade Temizkanoğlu's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şehzade Temizkanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Şehzade Temizkanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Engin Üngörmüş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavdir JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Engin Üngörmüş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kunter Şenaltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abdulkerim İnciroğlu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faik Tanırer to maneuver through the defense. GALATASARAY's Kunter Şenaltan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. GALATASARAY's Kunter Şenaltan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktürk Nezihi in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Göktürk Nezihi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY defense, Engin Üngörmüş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kunter Şenaltan. The GALATASARAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kunter Şenaltan should have stopped the shot. Cavdir JK's Engin Üngörmüş got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göktürk Nezihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kunter Şenaltan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Engin Üngörmüş sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the game, Arın Alansoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavdir JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. Arın Alansoy kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Bedir Lokman came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bedir Lokman couldn't finish the play. If Engin Üngörmüş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sufi Özçınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cavdir JK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Şehzade Temizkanoğlu hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavdir JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
