After having played for 4 minutes, Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Günyüzü JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunter Diriğ in the 8th minute of play forced Günyüzü JK's goalkeeper Güvenç Sargınal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Nafiz Akalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuratay Durna in the 11th minute. Orhan Seyfi Üçer's late challenge caught a Günyüzü JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhan Seyfi Üçer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Orhan Seyfi Üçer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Devran Erenoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ahmet Nafiz Akalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Günyüzü JK's Devran Erenoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Nafiz Akalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Günyüzü JK's Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the game, Devran Erenoz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ekrem Mengü charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekrem Mengü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of BLG Kimya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Günyüzü JK:s goal. In the 39th minute Hilmi Berkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Sargınal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BLG Kimya's zone, Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nafiz Akalp came out of the goal and Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilmi Berkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ali Emir Tekrim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes Günyüzü JK got a freekick which was hit by Arın Kumanbay. The audience was convinced that Hilmi Berkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güvenç Sargınal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Günyüzü JK got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen. After a defensive mix-up in BLG Kimya's zone, Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nafiz Akalp came out of the goal and Hakkı Deniz Taşkesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to BLG Kimya getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Orhan Seyfi Üçer hit a great ball. Günyüzü JK's Güvenç Sargınal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilmi Berkman in the 70th minute of play. Kunter Diriğ came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Güvenç Sargınal could save by the left post. In the 79th minute, Nuratay Durna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Kunter Diriğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kunter Diriğ fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BLG Kimya's protests and gave Kunter Diriğ a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Günyüzü JK booed when BLG Kimya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunter Diriğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilmi Berkman in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güvenç Sargınal saved Günyüzü JK from getting behind. Ekber Tahsin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Günyüzü JK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Burhan Peykan hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
