In the 23rd minute, Nuratay Akkın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kubat Suhan's late challenge caught a Karabaglar JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Nuratay Akkın made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Oğuzhan Canay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faik Kaçan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bozkurt Titiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Nazmi Selahaddin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Köprüköy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olgun Bostancı was slow to take the kick. During this time Karabaglar JK's players had a chance to rest.
